
This mock project for the Immigration Museum called for an exhibition inspired by aspects of everyday life that will resonate with Gen Z. Hashtag Y2K takes the audience through a nostalgic trip into their childhood, where the tech was simple, and it felt like there wasn’t a care in the world.
The logo is comparable to a video player button and is written in a font that perfectly captures the ‘futuristic’ themes that were anticipated from the 2000s. Multiple motifs were also created to support the branding, including a star shape prevalent in the 2000s and a pixelated heart shape.
